It's not your regular magazine.
The best school-based publication you have ever seen is here.
In an unprecedented move, students from Juilliard Academy and her sister school, Berkley Academy, have successfully joined forces to publish The Mavin, under the umbrella of our parent company, OrgLearning Consult.
The Mavin was created by Ebuka "Alpha" Ntamere, with the first issue published in July 2017. He is the Editor-In-Chief, and developed the idea for the magazine after handling a series of Writing Workshops for Juilliard students. These extremely gifted students needed an outlet for their original pieces, and after a discussion with the COO, she graciously sponsored the publication.
The Mavin is crafted as a consumer magazine, and will continue to be produced as an annual Valedictory Service magazine for OrgLearning Academies. The cover of this first issue features Juilliard Academy's 2017 Valedictorian, Miss Onyinyechi Ekeabu. It contains original written pieces and artwork by Juilliard and Berkley students, exciting and informative articles on various issues from politics to parenting, and an exclusive interview with one of Africa's most prominent batik and textile artists, Chief Mrs. Nike-Davies Okundaye.
The Mavin is on sale at Berkley and Juilliard campuses for ₦2,000 only.
